Wow, that's incredible. I didn't realize it was such a little car until the end. I wonder how fast it can go...... not that I'd want to drive it fast with that goofy little car suspension with the engine up so high.

With a 9 cylinder Radial in the back seat you would only need a pair of Altec 4B's and a couple zillion watts. :2thumbsup:

So the gear box is open air?

I love the fire spitting out the sides. That's a 10 liter engine!

I assumed it was oil filled, but I don't think he provided a shot of it sealed up.

10 liters? That's it? That must be a small radial, then........ I thought they were more like 32 litres. Maybe that was just the huge multi-row engines.

I've always fantasized about a car powered by an airplane engine........ like a Merlin. I think Leno has one. He's got a car powered by a big air cooled tank engine too.

I'd even take an Allison....... they used to be everywhere, I think. In the late 80's early 90's they were used a lot in truck and tractor pulls.

He was better off with the Yamaha bike engine, IMO: http://www.deutsche-werke.de/goggo.htm . Evidently function is more important than even the most rudimentary safety concerns, sheesh.

I looked at some more videos on his site. Looks like there is actually a box for the gears that might have oil.

Website says 10200 cc. It's from a crop duster, I think. That's 622 cubic inches.
